Mehtap entered the kitchen utensils business in 1963 with aluminum coating and produced its first Teflon-coated products in 1974. With a particular focus on Teflon-based production, Mehtap became one of the world’s leading manufacturing facilities through its investments in facilities, technologies, machinery and equipment from 2005 onwards. Mehtap places great importance on design and R&D and is one of the companies that work with DuPont® to develop Teflon products. As the first licensed user of DuPont® Teflon, Mehtap also continues to manufacture steel products and apply enamel coatings. Mehtap applies the “Basic Performance Tests” required by the European Union for DuPont® Teflon coating quality to its own products and continues to grow. We distribute our products through seven regional offices located across the country and export to a total of 60 countries, with a particular focus on Europe, America, Central Asia and the Middle East.
